Custodian I

Job Description

Cleaning, stocking and supplying designated facility areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc.) Performing and documenting routine inspection and maintenance activities. Carry out heavy cleaning tasks and special projects. 

Responsibilities

Perform assigned tasks on a timely and consistent basis following the building’s task and frequency schedule. Duties will include a mix of the following:

  • Dust work surfaces, furniture, and other horizontal/vertical surfaces. 
  • Clean restrooms including toilets, urinals, partitions, sinks, counters, mirrors, floors and walls.
  • Replenish restroom dispensers with paper products and soap.
  • Clean entrance glass and other interior glass.
  • Respond positively and promptly to customer work orders.
  • Work effectively with other team members.
  • Conduct all work in accordance with company procedures, including safety, door lock, time & attendance, and uniform policies.
  • Operate and maintain equipment such as vacuum cleaners.
  • Remove trash from containers and replace torn or soiled liners.
  • Report building and equipment maintenance issues to supervisor.

Floor Technician

Job Description

The Floor Technician carries out a number of tasks and services for Kingdom UP clients. Floors are their specialty, and achieving a thorough understanding of  different flooring types is necessary to ensure this position is successful. Responsibilities range from sweeping, mopping and cleaning carpet, to stripping, waxing, buffing, and sanitizing floors. 

Job Type: Part-time

Schedule:

  • Evening shift
  • Overnight shift
  • Monday-Friday with weekend availability 
  • On call

Work Location: Various Locations

Responsibilities

Perform all floor cleaning and maintenance duties for facilities using Kingdom UP provided tools and procedures. Duties include:

  • Vacuuming shampoo carpets
  • Sweeping, mopping, stripping, waxing, and buffing floors
  • Disinfect floors with sanitizer
  • Moving furniture, as needed
  • Spot cleaning
  • Cleaning elevators and stairs
  • Ability to operate various floor equipment and machinery
  • Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment
  • Open and lock facilities, enable and disable security systems, as required

Qualifications

  • Must achieve thorough understanding of buffing, stripping, and waxing floors, and identifying different flooring types
  • Use proper PPE and safety equipment, as required
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member
  • Care about quality
  • Detail oriented and work at an efficient pace
  • Reliable

Administrative Assistant 

Job Description

Ensure clerical tasks are carried out to support and allow staff to communicate and work efficiently. From answering calls and greeting visitors, to distributing mail and preparing company communications. The administrative assistant helps with the day-to-day operations of a business by doing tasks such as filing paperwork, answering phone calls, preparing documents for meetings, and managing the calendar of their supervisors. This position typically reports to a Managing Director unless assigned directly to the CEO or other executive. Most Administrative Assistants support the entire office in smaller companies, and work with various department managers and staff.

Responsibilities

A successful administrative assistants are effective communicators who speak clearly, and are personable and welcoming when answering incoming calls. They use proper grammar and put people at ease when they’re on the phone or speaking one-on-one with other staff members or customers. Duties include:

  • Answer and direct phone calls
  • Organize and schedule appointments
  • Plan meetings and take detailed minutes
  • Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, and forms
  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
  • Develop and maintain a filing system
  • Update and maintain office policies and procedures
  • Order business supplies and research new deals and suppliers
  • Maintain contact lists
  • Book travel arrangements
  • Submit and reconcile expense reports
  • Provide general support to visitors
  • Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients
  • Liaise with executive and senior administrative assistants to handle requests and queries from senior managers

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
  • Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
  • Mandatory Background Check

  • (Preferred) Proven experience as an administrative, virtual, or office assistant/secretary in previous employment
